Where to buy my work
I exhibit widely and frequently throughout Scotland and the North of England. My work can be purchased at many of these outlets, or directly from me. Prices start at about £50 for a small editioned collagraph up to £300 for a framed one-off mono-type.
I am happy to mail-order un-framed prints, these are mounted with an off-white mount and supplied with a backing board for you to arrange your own framing. If you prefer I can arrange framing too so that the art-work is delivered ready for you to just hang straight on your wall.
I can also arrange to have larger sculptural pieces specially packed and sent via courier.

I was born in rural Galloway in south-west Scotland.
My artistic career began in my father's studio pottery when as a child I observed and assisted him in his workshop, and later joined him as a member of his team. While working at John Davey Pottery I gained a thorough grounding in all aspects of production of hand thrown domestic pottery, including clay and glaze preparation, wheel-throwing, mould making, and kiln building and firing. During this time I also began to explore clay as a sculptural medium, using handbuilding and other construction techniques.
I later studied sculpture and printmaking at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art in Dundee, graduating in 1992 with BA Hons. There I began to explore printmaking and especially collagraphs as an expressive medium, attracted by the possibilities in constructing images bit by bit, layer by layer.
I settled in the Scottish Borders in 1993 in a cottage a few miles from Jedburgh, where I continue to explore and develop my creative practice.
I run a range of classes from my studio and occasionally teach in a variety of other situations. Please contact me if you would like more information on classes.
My work is held in public and private collections.
