Dynamic Prints Unique Collagraphs, Monoprints and Monotypes

These are usually one-off or very limited edition original art-works. 

Richly coloured and textured, the images are often drawn from my fascination with delicate microscopic forms and patterns, and my sense of wonder at the mechanisms and processes involved in growth, change, decay and renewal.

The collagraph plates are usually made from thin board onto which the image is built up using a variety of materials. I often use multiple plates to create one print, passing the paper through the rollers of the press repeatedly, inking up each time with different coloured inks or with certain areas masked off. In this way a unique, richly layered and complex image is gradually built up.
